F.A.Q.

  • Is UCNCO affiliated with any trade organization or publisher? No. The Utility Classifieds Network is a small, very independent company with absolutely no ties to any trade association. You're probably just starting to see our link pop up everywhere. It would make more "fiscal" sense to be a part of a large publishing group, and we will be working toward that as a target. The Internet has the potential to seriously impact advertising, and UCNCO is right at the forefront of the transition.

  • Are you attempting to compete with the vendor community? No. The vendor community is a dynamic component of our marketing efforts. Every utility related UCNCO site supports the efforts of the vendor community to bring the latest technology to the marketplace. "What's one man's surplus; Is another man's gold", and, by assisting with the disposal of used and surplus assets, we're making the way for more capital investment in new technology.

  • What can I do to help spread the word about The Utility Classifieds Network? Although we have done some advertising, ours is mainly a word-of-mouth advertising campaign. Telling others about this site helps. Placing a link on your site helps.

  • What about stats? Since November 2000, we have had approximately 12.0 Million visitors to all of the UCNCO sites, which is well above average for our vertical market industries. (May, 2007)

The Dog will be there to guard the equipment ….

And the Man will be there to feed the Dog." ..
